How can I get computers for my school?

Fax us your request on your school's letterhead stationery including the following information.

Your name, school, grade level, email address and phone number.

How many computers would you like? Do you want Open Office installed? Do you want 256 MB Ram or 512 MB.

Would you prefer desktop or tower computers?

If you want matching computers in a larger quantity you may have to wait until a donation matching your specifications comes in. At the present time labs requesting matching Pentium III computers can be processed quickly while matching Pentium IV computers would take longer to fill.

We also offer a special service to schools in loading specific software on systems. A school can pick up one computer loaded with the specificed operating systems. The technician can load other licensed software programs and set up specific networking information. CFC can then duplicate the remainder of the systems at no additional charge thus saving many hours at the school site.

What size monitors do you want - 15" or 17"? They are free so only your space limitations would make a difference. We do have larger monitors for visually impaired students or for graphics classes.

We handle MACs as well as PCs. Let us know what you want.

CFC has other items which are free for schools. If we have a quantity on hand such as floppy drives, keyboards, monitors and power cords, schools may pick them up at no charge from our warehouse. We only charge for items that we have had to purchase such as memory, new modems, and sound cards.

Our printers are refurbished by Sue at Chico Laser Savers. Call Sue for your printer orders. We have printers for small classes as well as for labs. She will help you select the best model for your needs. We do not carry ink jet printers as the cost of the inks do not make them cost effective for most classes.
